The Yukon government is extending supports to local businesses amid the pandemic.
The Yukon Business Relief Program provides grants of up to 30-thousand-dollars per month to cover fixed costs of businesses that have experienced a 30 per cent reduction in revenue.
Economic development Minister Ranj Pillai says The program boosts businesses needing immediate support to cover fixed costs, including rent, utilities and business insurance. He says the message is to buy local:
