UPDATE: Missing Teens Charged in Connection with BC Murder

Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky are considered dangerous and should not be approached.

Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky have been charged with 2nd degree murder for the death of Leonard Dyck in Northern BC last week.

RCMP have confirmed that the two missing BC teens are now charged with second degree murder in the death of Leonard Dyck in northern British Columbia last week.  Dyck's body was found on July 19 about 2 kilometres from a burned out camper truck south of the Stikini Bridge on Highway 37. 

Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky are considered dangerous and should not be approached.

RCMP reported that the two young men were last seen in northern Saskatchewan are warning the public that they may have changed their appearance and vehicle and anyone who sees them are to notify police. No further details are being released at this time to ensure the investigation is not compromised.

In the midst of growing concern over the events of the past two weeks BC RCMP continue to stress the importance of heightened vigilance when travelling. RCMP Sergeant Janelle Shoihet: 

RCMP are also requesting public assistance in the investigations. They are asking anyone with dashcam footage who had been traveling in the identified areas to please contact them.
