Yukon RCMP are asking the public for information on two men they believe to be involved in a firearms complaint Wednesday evening.
Shortly after 6 pm on Wednesday, April 8th, 2020, Whitehorse RCMP responded to a complaint of a firearm being pointed at a motorist on Robert Service Way.
The suspect vehicle, described to police as a dark Volvo with B.C. license plate, was located on Robert Service Way, but fled from police toward Riverdale. Multiple RCMP units were immediately dispatched to Riverdale and set up a perimeter, with officers checking all traffic leaving the area.
The vacant suspect vehicle was located moments later and seized by police. Yukon RCMP Police Dog Services searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.
Yukon RCMP are asking the public for information on two men they believe to be involved in this incident: Desmond Dayton Fisher and Benjamin Moody. They are believed to be involved in the illicit drug trade and organized crime.
The suspects are described as:
- White males
- Dark hair
- Late teens or early twenties
